She was awarded a local Sports Emmy during her tenure at WTVJ-TV which is located in Miami. Also, she worked at WPLG-TV in Miami and WPEC-TV which is located in West Palm Beach, Florida. Her role was chosen as anchor on ESPN2 in 1993, when it first launched. She was employed at ESPN2 over the next three years prior to leaving to join Fox Sports.
